Lost for Words...
When the Media Team "hit" the pitch, a shirt was found lying by the side. Looking up, we saw that Johnni has decided to bare it all. I reaslied that he was wearing the Chelsea shorts Alvin bought from Beijing. I was even more puzzled. Why the shorts, but not the shirt? After the game, he told me that the shirt couldn't absorb sweat! He had no choice, but to take it off.
Rested for about two days after the BIG KO on Sunday, Raphael returns to the fray. Join by Chin, Wenchong and U.N.C.L.E. Both U.N.C.L.E. and Chin were carrying injuries. So, U.N.C.L.E.! Your backside still pain? Hahaha! Meanwhile, Wenchong made his presence felt all over The Cage, making his opponent confused with his fancy footwork.
Jeff Mak made his debut at The Cage, while Chris and Daniel mark their returns. They all took turns at goal. There were some quite amusing combinations in between the sticks. First, there was Daniel who was tall and lanky at one end, and Chris - big and stocky - at the other. Then came the short stinct when U.N.C.L.E kept goal, Johnni was at the other end. Lo and Behold! The two naked men at each end.
When Daniel took his place at goal, Junior went ino The Cage and requested for a pose from Daniel. Ignoring the risk of letting in goals, he came out with this. As "older" took longer to recover from fatigue, U.N.C.L.E. and Chin lost control of their strength and collided. U.N.C.L.E. said he "GONG!" (A bit concuss)
With reserves all on “international” duties, our boys carried on with their game in The Cage. So, it was a way to spur those who were away. They will have to play catch up when they come back. Just like Chris and Daniel.
As the minutes ticked by, Johnni came by for a time-check. It appeared that the clock in Pitch 2 was actually slower by an hour. The next person to ask for time was Daniel. Surprise?? Raphael was next in line to verify. Shock? But he has tricks up his sleeve. With ten minutes remaining, and the rest of the boys have their energy spent, Raphael went into mazy runs and converted two chances in a row. One was a solo effort, while the other was a precise cross from Daniel.
Then out came a whistle from Junior’s bag. Let the game end please they begged. Acting exactly like a referee, Junior ended their agony. Upon hearing the final whistle, Chris wanted to exchange shirts, but none of them wanted his. Once outside, they took off their shirts one by one. Seizing the rare opportunity, Junior took a shot of the “reflector’s”. See if you know his identity!
